This week we asked everyone at Saroma what essential oils are in their burners or diffuser's and we would love to know what oils you're using too, let us know in the comments below.

Since I have been in iso I have been using my essential oils more than ever before. First I started with 5 drops of 1413 Thieves Oil and 2 drops of Bergamot to lighten up the heady scent of the thieves and add the extra flu-fighting power of the Bergamot and having my diffuser on often, as I would if I had a sick person in the house, I have since calmed down.

This week I have gone back to my absolute favourites Bergamot and Grapefruit, just burning single oils and only using 4-5 drops sometimes in the morning only 3. I'm in a smallish room with the door closed (working from home) I find using less oil in a small room to be a beautiful light scent, a perfect balance, refreshing, uplifting and comforting at the same time probably because they are my favourites, just what I need at this time.

Recipe for a small room

4 drops of Bergamot
1 drop of Grapefruit ....or visa versa

This week my oil of choice has been spearmint. I picked up one of my spray mist bottles I had put spearmint in it a while ago. The scent bought back the days of pregnancy for me as it was my oil of choice if I ever felt nauseated. I would put about 4 drops in the oil burner or simply, in steaming water and let the scent diffuse through the room.

Today I use spearmint when I want to uplift and invigorate my spirits. At these times it is especially important to use oils that bring about motivation when these rainy days dampen our motivation. Spearmint has a fresh minty and green fragrance. Try some on its own or use 6 drops of spearmint and 3 drops of patchouli to round out the scent. Other oils that blend well with Spearmint are Basil, Eucalyptus, Rosemary, Patchouli, Vetiver, Ylang Ylang.
