Ylang Ylang Extra is the oil that is collected in the first 1 – 2 hours of distillation. Traditionally used for perfume it is the heaviest portion of the essential oil and also the finest as it holds the most ester, ether and phenol content. It has a light floral aroma.

Ylang Ylang is a Yin oil and cools the fire of stress and anger. Calming & uplifting. Euphoric. Sedating. Balances sebum, for dry oil & combination skin. Hair tonic. Balances hormones, uplifting for depression, insomnia and nervous tension. Uptightness, PMS with depression, Balancing sebum, effective for oil & dry skin. Promotes luxurious hair growth.
